The flight
Went smoothly , saw a move I had recently seen ( eat, pray, love - book is better). Big improvement on quality of food served on plane.
The airport
Once @
CDG I was more than exhausted
as I had been up for 24 hrs... I was anticipating the jet lag and its undesirable effects... I smiled when I notied our Arab drivers holding a sign for the interns in the arrivals area. They were helpful and very courteous. My driver blasted the music on the ADO FM radio thinking my fellow Quebecois interns would appreciate urban music
. lol I did:
Oh na na , what's my name ? Oh na na , what's my name ? :-) Here the format on those urban/pop radios seems to be an alternate playlist from English to French songs.
The night @ the hotel/ 13e arr. /Bastille
We stayed @ the very colorful Paris Bercy hotel in the 13th district, conveniently located near Gare de Lyon and Place de la Bastille which faces the Opera house. Beautiful scenery ! here are some of the pics I took there.

We had bad service @ the restaurant with the rustic restrooms. It seems they had trouble understanding my friends :-( On the bright side, food was good and priced fairly.

Home sweet room ?
The next day
it was time for everyone to go to their temporary homes, hence our separate ways. Hopped in a cab with my driver from Guadeloupe, and 10 minutes later I was at the door of La Maison des Étudiants Arméniens.
